Raised on the rocky beaches of Cape Cod (MA, USA), I discovered the joy of home movies and the ability to create. Telling stories and creating humans became something I wanted to chase, and understand more. I figured along the way I should learn how to make it beautiful.
My Story
Born in Yokohama, Japan, November 22, 1990 to a Glassblower and his Japanese Princess; I arrived to the United States at the ripe age of about 1 year old. Here in my predominantly white community I had a wonderful and safe childhood, where I could be the initiator of my own chaos. Being half, where majority of my peers were caucasian, lead for an interesting life and passion for my own independent spirit and creativity.
After graduating university, I got in touch with my other half (Japanese) whom I neglected for the greater part of my life. All the while I continue to practice the visual art and grow as a creator and a human. I then traveled the world with a friend from Japan to Portugal entirely without planes. And now I've returned to where I was raised (Cape Cod), working for Sandwich Community TV and running my own production company, Big Tree.
I graduated Cum Laude from Northeastern University (Boston, MA) in 2014 with a duel major in Cinema Studies/Communication and a minor in Video Production. There I had opportunities to work in New York City and Boston; from reality TV to commercials to public access. But through my own independent work and freelance, I experienced the most cultivation.
